"Sahadat" - The [G]olden Fleece connection                    Photo Album

The third son who came from India. He had three sons and a two daughters.

 

We know that Sahadat's descendants settled in the Golden Fleece and Weldad, West Coast

Berbice. We are not sure if Sahadat moved with his children to Golden Fleece or if he remained

at Dundee, nor do we know at this time where he is buried.

 

After the family moved to Golden Fleece, they establisehd a masjid shortly after. Ustad Baba

Pakar from Dundee masjid used to travel to Golden Fleece masjid teach Quran to Muslims in

the area.

 

We do not know the name of Sahadat's wife, though we know she is buried at Brittania, WCB.

 

Sahadat is the great grandfather of "Birdie" (son of Sadar or "Pow").
